The SKF Speedi-Sleeve is an alternative to costly repairs of worn or damaged shafts. Specially developed by SKF, this thin-walled sleeve is simply mounted on the relevant part of the shaft to provide a smooth counterface optimized for radial shaft sealing. Using the SKF Speedi-Sleeve avoids costly shaft processing that may involve machining, hardening, plunge grinding or disassembly. The SKF Speedi-Sleeve Gold is an enhanced version of the standard SKF Speedi-Sleeve that offers increased protection against wear.
